Anakena Carmenere

100% Carmenère grapes from Rapel Valley, Alto Cachapoal. The must is fermented between 27-29°C. The maceration process takes place between 1 and 8 days in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation follows. The wine is not aged in oak barrels. Unique to Chile, this full bodied Anakena Carmenère is dark cherry red in colour with blackberry notes, pepper and chocolate aromas. Rich and fruity on the palate it has a velvety finish and is delicious with red meat, game, pasta and cheese. Recommended serving temperature is 18-20ºC.

100% Merlot grapes from the Rapel Valley. The must is fermented between 24-26°C. The maceration process takes place between 1 and 10 days in stainless steel - the wine is not aged in oak. The Anakena Merlot is dark, ruby red in colour with strawberry and blackberry aromas. On the palate it is rich and smooth with rounded tannins and a very pleasant finish. Delicious as an aperitif or with white meat, pastas and cheeses. Recommended serving temperature is 18-20ºC.

Brouilly

The speciality at Dubost is their Brouilly, which comes from 75 year old vines, (Vielles Vignes). This wine is surprisingly rich with a slight hint of structured tannins that reflect both their devotion to the Gamay grape variety and also to quality.

Casa Silva Cabernet-Merlot

A deep crimson core with sapphire hues and a lively purple rim. The nose is packed with big red fruits and a touch of mature plums. The palate runs true to the nose, with juicy raspberries and cherries interwoven with sweet black fruits, all ending in a well structured, full finish.

Don Cristobal Red

This elegant and harmonious wine from Mendoza-Argentina, results from the assemblage of Merlot, Bonarda and Sangiovese grapes. Having an intense and bright ruby red color, and ripe red fruit aromas, this wine is characterized by its soft tannins and its pleasant structure. Harvest by hand of each variety separately in March and April, raceme selection, destemming. Must alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature between 24°C and 28°C. Average maceration of 20 days, subsequent malolactic fermentation and decanting in order to remove lees. Production finishes with the blend of wines to highlight the characteristics of each variety.

Mud House Pinot Noir

A soft palate with fresh bright red fruit and subtle spice flavours. The palate lingers with delicate acidity. Subtle aromas on the nose of berry fruit compote and sweet spice. After arriving at the winery the grapes were gently destemed to open fermenters. After a five day cold soak the fermentation was started with a mix of wild and cultured yeast. The grapes were hand plunged or pumped over twice a day to extract the colour, flavour and tannin structure. After pressing, each parcel was kept separate for maturation. The fruit for this Mud House Pinot Noir was sourced from selected Marlborough vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys.

Mud House Swan Reserve Pinot Noir

A bold but elegant wine. The front palate shows ripe rich fruit which integrates seamlessly with the subtle tannins. The wine finishes with amazing length and shows a delicate hint of french oak. The Swan Reserve Pinot Noir by Mud House shows a lifted nose of dark cherry, raspberry and mocha with hints of crushed herb and clove. A single vineyard wine, the fruit was sourced from Mud House’s Bendigo Vineyard in Central Otago.

Murphy's Shiraz

Following the harvest the grapes were crushed, de-stemmed and pumped into tanks for fermentation. Traditional fermentation techniques of pumping over to extract colour and flavour were followed before the skins were pressed. Bright red colour showing ripe berry fruit aromas and a soft rich taste.

The village of Nuits Saint Georges gives its name to the Cote de Nuits. The Cote de Nuits starts just south of Dijon to the edge of Cote de Beaune. Lupe Cholet Nuits St Georges shows a rich, strongly flavoured red wine with great depths of red and black fruits. The bouquet is powerful and complex : blending cherry, blackcurrant, truffle and blueberries. Alcohol content : 13.5% Grape varieties : Pinot Noir 100% Ageing potential : over 5 years Food pairing : Red meat, Meat with gravy, Cheese

Palandri Pinnacle Shiraz

This quality Palandri Pinnacle Shiraz displays a deep brick red colouring with bright purple highlights. The bouquet is filled with fruit aromas - plums and blackberries and a little white pepper is evident. The palate is crammed with full fruit flavours including rich plums and blackberries and is underpinned by hints of spice and white pepper. It is long, soft and rounded with soft tannins providing an excellent finish. The great majority of fruit came from the Great Southern region of Western Australia (67%), with smaller parcels drawn from Margaret River (17%). The remaining was sourced from the Geographe region. Around 20% was matured in a combination of new and old American Oak barrels. The various parcels were then drawn together and given a short period in oak prior to bottling. 14% alcohol

Paxton AAA Shiraz Grenache

Paxton AAA Shiraz Grenache is a vibrant blend of approximately 75% Shiraz and 25% Grenache from some special little pockets amongst our vineyards. The Shiraz was selected from the ‘Gateway' and ‘Jones Block’ vineyards, renowned for producing some of the best fruit in the region. These select parcels were blended with complimentary Grenache to create a wine that is engaging to a wide range of drinkers. Our blend is fun, appealing and, unlike some members of Paxton, not over the top. Colour: Paxton AAA displays medium intensity ruby red with purple hues Nosev: Lifted, bright, spicy red berry fruit with some floral notes. Palate : Bright spicy berry fruit, flavour filled with a fine tannin profile and a lingering savoury back palate. Smooth, even and balanced.

Round Hill Merlot

Wonderful example of classic Merlot flavors including ripe blueberry and plum jam notes. A touch of subtle toasted oak character integrates well with a lush, full body. Valcanto Monestrell

100% Monastrell aged 4 months in American oak barrels. Deep purple colour with abundant blueberry and blackberry fruit on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, it has excellent concentration and length. Monastrell is a red, sweet and productive grape. It produces wines with a deep colour and considerable alcoholic content. It is mainly found in Murcia (52%), Alicante, Albacete and Valencia and it is considered a main variety in DOs such as Almansa, Valencia and Yecla.

Valcanto Syrah

100% Syrah. Maceration took place for 7 days at 25deg.C, and malolactic fermentation in 500 litre oak barrels. It was aged 4 months in American oak barrels. Deep, intense red colour with purple tinges. Sensational ripe red fruit nose beautifully blended with spices and a toastiness from the oak. On the palate it is elegant, full, very smooth and rounded with rich plum and blackberry fruit and firm tannins. It finishes off with a hint of high quality oak. A superb wine at incredible value.
